“Use your talents”

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber. —Proverbs 24:33


Read Proverbs 24:15-34

All the proverbs King Solomon wrote, including our text for to-day, he received as wisdom from the Lord. This proverb points out that the lazy person will not prosper. This is timely advice for each one of us. As stewards, we need to be diligent and industrious in doing the tasks the Lord has given us.

We should ask ourselves whether we are using our talents properly. Although it is true that our works cannot save us, in our daily activities we are called to obey the Lord and to serve Him. How are you doing this?
