Sermon of the Month: May 2026

Do you ever feel lukewarm in your spiritual state? In Revelation 3, Jesus writes to a church filled with lukewarmness. Here, Jesus gives us a gracious remedy to our lukewarmness by inviting us into His Gospel. He says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20).

Preaching on this passage, Pastor Scott Dibbet (St. George FRC) brings us our Sermon of the Month for May. The title of the sermon is “Christ’s Letter to Laodicea: A Lukewarm Church,” and there are three points: Christ as a patient Lord, Christ’s personal appeal, and Christ’s profound promises. Let us all receive this patient Saviour as He stands and knocks on the doors of our hearts!
