Christ Prays!
“Wherefore he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him.” —Hebrews 7:25
Read Hebrews 7:20-28
Since God has accomplished our salvation, we ought to love Him above everything else. We also read that because He has an unchangeable priesthood, “He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him” (Hebrews 7:24). Further on, we read that “He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” The Lord Jesus prays that not one of those given Him by the Father would be lost. He prays continually, and will not cease doing so until all His own are gathered into the eternal rest.
Do you truly love Him? Do you also love His Word? Do you love His day? Can you say that “He is altogether lovely; this is my Be-loved and my Friend”?
Perhaps you ask, “Does He also pray for me?” If you are a believer, yes He does; He is praying for you also. And His prayers are always answered. Therefore, one day you will also be able to enter into the rest prepared for the children of God.
Do you pray to the Lord each and every day?
