Have you ever wondered how you might get access to more theological education?

Most of us go through our childhood attending catechism classes, and then taking classes that prepare us for making public Confession of Faith. Many of us are left with theological questions. And yet, the options that most churches focus on are book studies. While the Heidelberg Catechism provides some structure to the pastor’s sermon series, that is not the place for you to interact and ask theological questions.

The Learning Centre Ontario strives to bring Reformed theological education to every age group. We hope to do this through events for young people, and on-site and online classes for adults of every age.

These classes are offered in conjunction with Transform@PRTS, a valuable ministry where qualified professors from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary share their lectures online. Through our partnership with Transform@PRTS, we are able to offer mentored courses both online and on-site. Whether you take a course online or on-site, you get access to both the Transform video lectures and local mentoring at our Brantford site. However, the on-site courses facilitate discussion around central topics of the video lectures.

This fall we will be offering on-site courses in Biblical Theology of the Old Testament, and Reformation Church History. We also will be simulcasting Ligonier’s “Always Ready” conference on October 4. Other future events include author meet ‘n greets, other conferences, and courses including Biblical Counseling and Ethics. There are no prerequisites, and all are encouraged to enroll. The cost is very minimal because we want as many people as possible to benefit.
