About the event

The FRC Young Men’s Conference is for young men from the Free Reformed Churches between the ages of 16-25. The purpose of the conference is to help train and support young men who desire to become a servant leader in their home, church, and denomination. The vision is to strengthen young men who desire to serve the Lord in our local churches while also encouraging healthy camaraderie between each other.

The conference will consist of multiple topics given by different pastors, professors, and presenters encouraging spiritual growth and leadership as men in their personal walk with God and Christian witness to others. Aside from the sessions, a tour of the Puritan Reformed Seminary and other recreational activities will take place around Grand Rapids.

Our theme for this year comes from 1 Corinthians 1:26 where it says, "see your calling, brethren". We plan to examine different areas of calling throughout the sessions. Our speakers are Dr. David Kranendonk, Dr. Gerald Bilkes, Rev. Eric Moerdyk and Mr. Henry Vanderveen.

The conference cost is free (covered by Youth and Ed), but travel to Grand Rapids is asked to be covered by the individual. If travel costs are prohibitive for the individual to attend, we would ask that the attendee’s local congregation be supportive. Billeting will be provided by the hosting committee in Grand Rapids.

The agenda for this conference can be viewed by clicking here

Attendees are also encouraged to attend the PRTS Conference taking place from August 24th to the 26th directly following this conference if able.

Our hope and prayer is for this conference to be a spiritual blessing for young men and for the upbuilding of denominational unity. We encourage each young man to consider attending the conference and share this with your youth groups and peers. Please pray that the conference would be used mightily by the Lord for His glory and His purposes.
