Job Posting: Director

The individual who undertakes this role can expect to invest 10 hours per month. Because of the nature of this role, however, the Director’s hours may be flexible month by month in order to meet his/her personal priorities as well as Plants & Pillars priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the oversight of the FRC Youth and Education Synodical Committee the Director will be primarily responsible for the following:

Set the vision for the future of Plants and Pillars (from hereon P&P).

Understand the current functions and audience of P&P.

Increase the awareness of P&P to youth in local churches and camps.

Coordinate with the Administor necessary tasks to be completed.

Freedom to recruit youth contributors and ambassadors for P&P.

Coordination and communication with editors, administrator, and videographers when needed.

Suggest new ideas relevant to the promotion and usefulness of P&P.

Produce updates two times per year on P&P activities to the Youth and Ed Committee.

Other relevant duties deemed necessary or applicable by the committee.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Desire to serve the Lord and work in His kingdom

A member of the FRC or HRC church denominations
-
Is passionate about providing young people with biblical reformed resources
-
Understands the youth and is relevant to their stage of life and challenges

Has a vision for further uses of the app/website
-
Can lead regular meetings and work with others well
-
Understands the capabilities and uses of technology
-
Basic understanding of website functionality with a desire to further expand knowledge

Organized, passionate, and self-motivated
